This Privacy Policy describes how freeweb (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") handles personal information in the "Mototore" app (hereinafter referred to as "the Application").

1. Types of Information Collected

The Application may collect the following information:

1.1 Device Information

  • Device ID (device identifier)
  • Platform (iOS/Android)
  • OS Version
  • Device Model
  • Manufacturer
  • Locale information
  • Timezone

1.2 Usage Data

  • Screen view information
  • App launch count and time
  • Search history
  • In-app behavioral history

1.3 Photo Data

  • Meal photos uploaded by users (temporarily sent to OpenAI API)

2. Purpose of Personal Data Collection

Collected information is used for the following purposes:

  • App improvement and bug fixing through usage analytics
  • User authentication and security enhancement (preventing unauthorized access)
  • Meal calorie analysis
  • Ad delivery and ad performance measurement (AdMob)

3. Disclosure to Third Parties

The Application uses the following third-party services, and data may be transmitted to these services.

3.1 Google LLC

3.2 OpenAI

API service for image analysis

3.3 Firebase Functions

  • Device ID authentication processing for terminal authentication
  • Only minimum necessary data for authentication is transmitted

4. Firestore (Cloud Database)

The Application does not use Firestore (cloud database) and all data is stored in secure local storage on the device. The following data is not transmitted to the cloud:

  • User settings (weight, calorie goals, exercise goals)
  • Meal records (photos, food information, calories)
  • Exercise task history
  • App usage history

5. Terminal Authentication

To prevent unauthorized access and ensure security, the Application uses the following authentication method:

  • Terminal authentication using device ID
  • Authentication information is processed via Firebase Functions, and only minimum necessary data for authentication is transmitted
  • Device ID is not used for any purpose other than authentication

6. Data Retention and Management

6.1 Retention Period

  • GA4 data: Stored according to Google's policy
  • Photo data: Discarded immediately after analysis (not stored)
  • Local data: Retained during app usage and for a reasonable period thereafter

6.2 Management Method

  • Local data is stored encrypted in secure local storage on the device
  • Uninstalling the app deletes all local data

7. User Rights

Users have the following rights:

  • Request for disclosure of collected information
  • Request for deletion of information (can be deleted by uninstalling the app)
  • Request to stop using information

8. Location Information

The Application does not collect or use location information.

9. Child Protection

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age and does not intentionally collect personal information from children. If it is discovered that personal information has been provided by a child under 13, we will immediately delete it.

10. Security

The Service Provider strives to protect personal information it handles and takes reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial security measures. However, we do not guarantee the complete security of communications via the Internet.

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be subject to change from time to time. Changes will be notified by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
